Since there is a Community Library near my house, I made a point to take my daughter there as often as we can. To get her to be exposed to books and love of reading like me when I was younger. I've always love reading. I do not have any specific author or genre that I'm fond of. I read anything I can get my hands on. Romance, fiction, historical, anything.... As long as I'm reading, I'm happy. It is the only way I can escape from my crazy world.

It has been awhile since I was able to sit back with a book in my hands. Work demands a lot of my time and I'm not the type who is patient enough to just read a page or two at a time. I would want to finish my reading till I usually forget everything else, food, drink, shower etc as I will be in a different world then, world of the writer, viewing from his/her point of view.

I borrowed this book from the library. It's from Jemari Seni Publishing @ www.jemariseni.com. It is a story of friendship from Taiping to Tokyo, based on sincerity and religion. Writer plays with emotions of a young girl by the name of Nurul Akasyah and her best friend Carl Duke Adam. The purity of a friendship, the unspoken words of love and hope, the hurt, the uncertainty and the happiness. All in one.

The writer, Rnysa @ http://rnysa.blogdrive.com, started writing blogs in 2003 and this is her first e-novel. Easy reading. Her friendship theme is no different from other novel in the market but touch of religious views and attributes reminds me that the temporary world we live in can be better if each individual remembers that everything comes from HIM and to HIM we should ask. For HE will not turn away from those who ask. Ainul Mardhiah... would I even dare to dream to become her? The head of all angels in Heaven? Hmmm....

Movie Time!!!

It's been so long I've waited the sequel to F&F and finally when F5 is here, I wasn't able to watch it because my daughter is not allowed in. School holiday's started & she went over to my mom's place. First thing in my agenda... to watch F5!!!

Car crazy, speed crazy, action crazier... Love it. Unfortunately, I totally forgot to stay behind & watch the trailer for FF6. Wanna watch it again. Join me?

Happy Mother's Day!!

I love you mom. You are my life, my love, my everything. You are my pillar of strength and you have been with me in every ups and downs in my life. Although I might not say it often, but I love you, I'm so grateful to you. Whatever situation I'm in, you are always there for me. Mom, you are my angel, my idol. I've always hoped that I would have even an inch of your qualities in me when I face motherhood myself.

19 years passed since my firstborn. I couldn't be more proud of him as any mother would be. I don't know what deed I have done to be blessed by such a remarkable bundle of joy. I thank Allah s.w.t in every breath that I take for Him to loan this miracle to me. I can only pray that I live long enough to be there in every moment of his ups and downs as my mother did for me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to become a mother.

12 years after him again I was blessed with a pretty princess. Realizing both my babies were born in the Chinese Year of Monkey, I know that I'll be facing another whirlwind of mischievous, bright, loving, chatter world. She is my mirror. However, I just hope that she will only mirror the best side of me. Whatever I missed while raising my son, I try to make sure that I did not miss it with her. Although both of them suffers the same fate of having to live with a single parent, she is luckier as she has a loving brother whom she adores to pieces.

To both of my children, you make my life complete. I do not need anything else in this world other than your hugs & kisses. I love both of you, always and forever.

Okay... this post was taken from MY Baby Store FB that was shared by my sister on her wall. After reading it, I decided to post in my blog... as I feel it is close to the heart. I tried to translate it to English but alas, my words are not as poetic as I wanted it to be. So I'm keeping it in Bahasa Malaysia.

Andainya lelaki tahu...

Apabila seorang perempuan jatuh cinta,

lelaki itu tidak semestinya punya segalanya

tetapi lelaki itu adalah segalanya di hatinya.

Andainya lelaki tahu...

Apabila seorang perempuan itu mengalirkan air mata,

itu bukan bermakna dia lemah,

tetapi dia sedang mencari kekuatan

untuk terus tabah menyintai lelaki itu.

Andainya lelaki tahu...

Apabila seorang perempuan marah,

memang dia tak mampu mengawal perasaannya

tapi percayalah, itulah maknanya

dia sangat mengambil berta dan menyayangi lelaki itu.

Lihat saja pasangan yang baru bercinta, mereka jarang bergaduh.

Tetapi percayalah semakin bertambah sayang mereka pada seseorang,

semakin banyak pula pertelingkahan yang berlaku.

Apabila perempuan bercakap banyak,

dia tak pernah bermaksud untuk membuat anda rimas,

tetapi dia mahu lelaki mengenalinya dengan lebih dekat.

bukan bermakna dia tidak sayang,

tetapi dia terlalu sayangkan anda

Kadang kadang dia terlalu risau sekiranya terlalu percaya,

anda akan mengkhianati kepercayaan yang di beri.

Naluri keibuannya sangat kuat.

Dia hanya mahukan yang terbaik buat anda.

Apabila perempuan merajuk,

jangan kata dia mengada-ngada.

Dia bukan mahu di pujuk dengan wang ringgit

atau hadiah sedozen,

tetapi cukup dengan perhatian

yang boleh buat perempuan rasa di hargai.

Andainya lelaki tahu...

Apabila perempuan jarang mengatakan 'i love you',

itu tidak bermaksud dia tidak menyintai

tetapi dia mahu lelaki itu rasa sendiri cintanya,

bukan hanya hadir dari kata-kata

tetapi jugak melalui bahasa tubuhnya.

Andainya lelaki tahu ...

Apabila perempuan kata dia rindu pada anda,

dia benar-benar maksudkannya.

Apabila berjauhan, bayanganmu akan sentiasa bermain di mata.

Andainya lelaki tahu...

Apabila perempuan kata lelaki lain itu lebih baik dari anda,

jangan percaya kata-katanya

kerana dia hanya mahu menguji anda.

Dia mahu melihat sejauh mana anda sanggup menjadi yang terbaik di matanya.

Walaupun sebenarnya andalah yang terbaik di hatinya.

Seladi dia dengan anda, percayalah,

walaupun perempuan menganggap masih ramai lagi yang lebih baik di matanya

tetapi di hatinya, anda tetap yang terbaik.

Andainya lelaki tahu...

Apabila perempuan menjadi degil,

dia bukan brmaksud untuk menjadi degil

tetapi dia mahu melihat

sejauh mana lelaki itu mampu bersabar dengan kerenahnya.

Percayalah, hati perempuan sangat lembut.

Andai kena caranya,

jangan terkejut kalau akhirnya dia tukar fikiran dalam masa sesaat.

Andai lelaki tahu...

Ada perempuan berkata.

"tolong tinggalkan saya!",

dia tidak bermaksud menyuruh anda pergi selamanya.

Dia hanya mahu menenangkan fikirannya sebentar saja.

Apabila dia kembali tenang,

percayalah dia akan mencari anda semula.

Itu tandanya dia benar-benar menyintai anda.

Prerempuan sukar mengawal perasaan.

Dia terlalu emosional.

Tapi dialah yang paling menyayangi anda

dan sangat sesnsitif dengan perubahan yang ada pada diri anda.

Andainya lelaki tahu....

Sememangnya Allah menciptakan lelaki dan perempuan itu

dengan perbezaannya tersendiri.

Tetapi sekiranya mereka saling memahami,

mereka akan saling melengkapi dan menyempurnakan.

Perempuan itu diciptakan oleh Allah S.W.T indah sekali.

Di sebalik airmatanya,

tersimpan seribu kekuatan

yang bakal menjadikan seorang lelaki itu merasa selamat bersamanya.

Biarpun zahirnya perempuan itu tampak lemah

tapi dia punya kekuatan tersendiri

yang bisa menggoncang dunia

dan mungkin bisa membuat lelaki lemah kerananya.

Jadi hargailah kehadiran seorang perempuan dalam hidup anda

kerana dia didatangkan bukan dengan kelemahan sahaja

tetapi dia juga ada kekuatan untuk menyokong anda

dan membuatkan hidup anda lebih sempurna.

Dialah bakal menjadi perempuan bekerjaya, isteri juga ibu

yang terbaik untuk anak anak anda.

As per the title, my finals over. Actually, it was over on the 8th April but my schedule was tight, only tonight I have the chance to update you, my dearest bloggers.

Bunny hopping extraordinary cuteness. Story is young EB who refuse to become an Easter Bunny. He went to Hollywood trying to pursue his drean as a drummer. Met with a ahuman, Fred O'Hare, turned Fred's life upside down ending with Fred being taken to Easter after he was mistakenly accused for killing EB.

EB, on the other hand, was supposed to have a live show with David Hasselhoff, feeling guilty about his friend Fred, EB went back to Easter Island, saving it from Chick Carlos, who wanted to become the Easter Chick.

It is about a blue macaw, Blu, the last of his kind, brought over to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil to mate. Problem is, Jewel, his mate is only interested in escaping the shelter. Shelter was raided and both Blu and Jewel was captured. Linda, Blu's owner, together with Tulio, Jewel's caretaker searched high and low for Blu and Jewel. They had help from Fernando, who originally was the one captured Blu and Jewel in the first place.

When trying to escape, Jewel found out that Blu can't fly. They enlisted help from Rafael, a toucan to find a way to cut the chain binding them. Together with Luis a bulldog, Pedro a Red-crested Cardinal and Nico a canary, they embarked on a journey to freedom only this time Jewel was caught again.

Blu, now the lovesick macaw, still cannot fly tries to find a way to rescue Jewel. Was he successful? Would Blu ever find the courage to fly? Were Blu and Jewel ever return to Linda and Tulio? Find out more in .... RIO.
